Your Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on every page through the top drop-down menu. A huge caveat: As you are probably aware, Edward Snowden has revealed that the US government has access to pretty much everything. I have no idea and have no specific reason to believe one way or another if the NSA is paying attention to Our World Report. I simply recommend people be careful what they post, no matter what sites you visit.

Google Adsense and the DoubleClick DART Cookie
Google, as a third party advertisement vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site. The use of DART cookies by Google enables them to serve adverts to visitors that are based on their visits to this website as well as other sites on the internet. To opt out of the DART cookies you may visit the Google ad and content network privacy policy at the following url
http://www.google.com/privacy_ads.html. Tracking of users through the DART cookie mechanisms are subject to Google's own privacy policies. Other Third Party ad servers or ad networks may also use cookies to track users activities on this website to measure advertisement effectiveness and other reasons that will be provided in their own privacy policies, Our World Report has no access or control over these cookies that may be used by third party advertisers.

Collection of Personal Information
Our World Report collects only the information necessary to (hopefully) provide a useful web experience for visitors. For instance, in order to register on the site you are asked to provide a name and a valid email address. Using your real name is optional but a real email address is required. In any case, Our World Report will NEVER provide this information to a third party. However, we might send you an occasional email such as a “welcome” email or if you have password problems an email containing a link to allow you to log in and reset your password. I may even send an occasional email to announce especially important news or a new feature. If I do that, I will certainly make it possible to opt out if you don't want to receive anything from Our World Report.

Links to third party Websites
I have gone to every site you find a link for within Our World Report at least once and usually multiple times. That being said, I have no control over what things go on at other sites or what information they may collect or how they use it. Basically, I’m saying that you're safe here but once you leave Our World Report, you’re on your own. This applies also to advertiser links. Just be careful and use common sense. Don’t give out any personal information that would be a serious bummer to have known publicly unless you trust the site.

Changes to this Privacy Statement
